Foot Care : Relaxor FM310 Deluxe Foot/Back Massager

Relaxor FM310 Deluxe Foot/Back Massager

A perfect gift for people who stand all day, this platform massager offers relaxation for tired, achy feet. However, it also aims to relieve other ailments through the ancient art of reflexology, which focuses on different pressure points in the feet to ease discomfort in other areas of the body. The Regenesis has a comfortable plastic footbed with raised pads that deliver the massage at one of two different intensity levels--both of which are fairly vigorous. Rounded acupressure pads in the center of each footbed let you target specific areas of the foot that correspond to other bodily discomforts, such as sinus inflammation, sciatic nerve pain, or thyroid irregularities. You can also choose the option of adding heat to the massage or simply heat the infrared lamp in the center of the platform for a quick warm-up. Rubber suction-cup feet keep the unit from slipping during the vibrating massage and a convenient built-in handle makes the massager easy to move from room to room. The Regenesis’s legs extend so the massage platform can be raised up for shorter legs or hang on the back of an office chair to double as a back massager. This portable massage spa has large, easy-to-use controls and a wraparound power cord for easy storage. It is covered by a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

My feet are abuzz... - The Relaxor Foot Massager.... As another reviewer mentioned, this one is somewhat intense. It has an overall buzzing, fast-vibrating feel to it, while I would prefer more kneading or rolling motion. The sensation generates more of a huh? reaction, than the aah I had hoped for. On the plus side, the price is reasonable, it seems solidly built, and the infrared warmer works as described.

Not Great but pretty decent for this price range - Don t know what the other alternatives are as this was my first massager. Feet feel a bit tingly after finishing massaging. I think some of the hot water ones are also good. The hot button is a good option, some times i just put it on without the vibration mode. Not that useful for the back massaging option, in my opinion. Finally, in my opinion, for this price, it is pretty good.

Great fix for tired feet! - As a restaurant server, my feet hurt so bad from working night after night! I was hoping the Relaxor would do the job and it was just what the doctor ordered! The little reflexology nodes are the best, they get a good deep tissue effect, and it s heavenly when you roll your feet around on them to hit all the little spots. The heat is also a nice added touch. I ve also hung it on the back or a chair for a back massage and that was great too - just be careful don t lean back into it until you ve got it where you need it. It s also so nice that I sometimes just rub my feet over it when it s off for a light massage. It is a litle loud, and it does vibrate a lot, but (HELLO) all massagers do. The only other caveat is to wear socks, it s a little overwhelming on bare feet.
